Dr. Nadine Alameh is an award-winning globally recognized thought leader in geospatial technologies and their intersection with some of today’s most pressing global challenges, including climate resilience, sustainability, and the future of intelligent infrastructure.
She’s known for championing interoperability, collaboration, and bridging technology and policy as CEO of the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC), as board member of the UN Geospatial Experts Group, as appointed advisor to the National Geospatial Advisory Committee, as inaugural Executive Director of the Taylor Geospatial Institute, and as a Strategic Advisor to the International Society for Digital Earth. Her industry leadership positions include a Chief Architect role at Northrop Grumman Civil Solutions Division, and the CEO of an award-winning cloud-based Aviation information management startup.
Dr. Alameh received multiple leadership awards: Geomatics Canada Strategic Thinker Award (2025), OGC Service Award (2024), Most Influential Businesswoman STL (2024), Women in Technology Leadership (2023), Geospatial World Diversity Champion (2022), and Geomatics Canada Leadership (2019).
Nadine holds a Ph.D. and 2 M.S. degrees from MIT; and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon.

His leadership style combines visionary thinking with operational rigor, empowering cross-functional groups to pursue high-impact, next generation initiatives.
Prior to his AWS role, Bill founded and led various successful ventures in the tech and aerospace field. Throughout his career, Bill has been a hands-on innovator – whether leading complex cloud migrations, developing satellite data platforms, or integrating space capabilities into commercial workloads. His deep expertise spans technical execution, strategic planning, and client engagement.
A respected voice in the industry, Bill regularly shared his insights on the nexus of cloud and space tech through thought leadership, mentorship, and speaking engagements. Marge Cole has 25 years of experience driving revenue growth in the commercial sector and fostering knowledge advancement in government organizations. She led technology development and implementation programs at NASA, SGT, KBR, and the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC), where she launched large-scale initiatives at the intersection of Earth observation, space, and data applications—delivering impact for both science and business communities.
Her core competencies include conceptualizing and leading innovative programs such as an international Geospatial AI working group, an urban air quality digital twin initiative, quantum computing workshops, a geospatial innovation initiative focused on food security, and many proof-of-concept projects for in-space software and components designed for future Earth observation missions. These efforts were made possible through collaboration with JPL, Raytheon, Blue Origin, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, NOAA, EPA, and the Department of Energy, MIT, Clark University, and University of MD, etc.
